The formal application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office by Telarus patent attorney Philip Marsh, Esq. of Cooley Godward LLP.

To determine a T1 price, GeoQuote utilizes revolutionary geomapping and database standardization techniques to calculate the exact distance from a user's location to the location of the nearest T1 vendor's POP, or Point of Presence. GeoQuote has a resolution of one one-hundredth of a mile and an error rate of less than 2%.
